From July 8-26, 2025, Somewhere to Oakland will feature free vertical dance performances and community events at Frank H. Ogawa/Oscar Grant Plaza. The project highlights migration themes through various artistic expressions, including dance, music, and workshops. Over 50 local artists and partners will participate, presenting works like BANDALOOP's FLOCK. Workshops will focus on storytelling and community engagement. Events will encourage intergenerational participation, combining dance, music, and visual art in a collective celebration of community and migration.
