For the joy of singing: Choral season 2025-26 begins * Oregon ArtsWatch
"Boy oh boy there is a lot of choral music coming our way. The singing season begins in early September and doesn't stop until - well, it doesn't stop these days, does it? We just concluded a summer of singing indoors, outdoors, from hilltops, concert halls and churches. Time to take a break? Not our choral-loving communities across Oregon and southern Washington. It is time to tell you about the many of the wonderful choral concerts coming up throughout the year."
"At Boyfriend's September 6 "My Heart Be Brave" concert you will hear tenors Tym Andrews, Nick Hebert and Jacob Flood rock on audience favorites Shenandoah and The Green and Salty Days. Baritone Adam Johnson will hold steady center on My Heart Be Brave. And bass 2 Ryan Dalton provides a solid foundation on two pieces written by bass 1 Boyfriend, composer Sydney Guillaume. Their concert offers a variety of styles, and perfection in blend and nuance."
