"The clip, directed by James Mackel, was selected over Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia's hitchhiking odyssey for Sabrina Carpenter's " Manchild"; the darkly stylish monochrome of Hannan Hussain and Clipse's "So Be It"; the kaleidoscopic stunts of OK Go's "Love"; and Sade's quietly nostalgic, Sophie Muller-directed " Young Lion.""
""This could not have been done without the 200 people who worked on it," said the video's producer, Jolene Mendes, while accepting the trophy."
Doechii won Best Music Video at the 2026 Grammys for "Anxiety," directed by James Mackel. The winning clip was chosen over nominees including Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia's hitchhiking odyssey for Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild," Hannan Hussain's darkly stylish monochrome for Clipse's "So Be It," OK Go's kaleidoscopic stunts in "Love," and Sophie Muller-directed, quietly nostalgic Sade video "Young Lion." OK Go were the only nominees with a prior win in the category. Last year's winner was "Not Like Us," directed by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free. Producer Jolene Mendes thanked the 200 people who worked on the video. This marks Doechii's second Grammy, following her 2025 Best Rap Album win for Alligator Bites Never Heal.
