"We hit it off immediately. Hanging out with [Def Leppard singer] Joe [Elliott] and the guys was like hanging with my own band, but with a different accent."
"From all of us up here, including [founding guitarist] Pete Willis and the late, great [guitarist] Steve Clark, we all say to each and every one of you, to our collective families, especially our parents who helped us get where we are now, just simply, to our incredibly loving fanbase, two words: thank you!"
Def Leppard received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, October 9, with the entire band in attendance. Jon Bon Jovi praised his friendship with the band and described spending time with Joe Elliott and the members as like hanging out with his own band, but with a different accent. Joe Elliott accepted the honor on behalf of the band, acknowledged founding guitarist Pete Willis and the late Steve Clark, and expressed gratitude to families and the fanbase. The band posed by their star holding framed plaques and were joined by Bon Jovi and associates. Fans can catch Def Leppard in a 12-show Las Vegas residency in February 2026, with tickets available.
