Death Angel released the new song "Cult of the Used" ahead of their Act III US Tour. The track pairs a groove-metal backbone with lean thrash riffage and prominently features Mark Osegueda's ageless vocals delivering imagery of societal hypnosis and manipulation. Guitarist Rob Cavestany said the song urges listeners to leave a "so called reality" and that the release was timed to coincide with the band's return to U.S. headlining dates. The tour begins November 26 in Denver, concludes with two Fillmore shows in San Francisco on December 18–19, and includes support from Toxic Holocaust, Lions at the Gate, and Misfire. The setlist will feature a full playthrough of Act III, which turned 35 in April.
