"'Not Enough' didn't find its place on Not to Disappear but we always loved it - we even played it live a few times before it went back to being a demo buried on a hard drive,"
"We live in different places now, and some of our recent work has happened remotely, so this felt like old times."
Ten years after Not to Disappear's release, Daughter issued a new single titled 'Not Enough' to mark the anniversary. The song originated as a demo during the Not to Disappear sessions in 2015 and was finished late last year at London's Total Refreshment studio. The resulting track exemplifies Daughter's blend of grace, technicality, and deep emotionality. The band noted they performed the song live a few times before it became a demo stored on a hard drive, and that completing the track felt like old times despite members now living in different places and doing some work remotely. The single is released via Glassnote Records.
