""Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom," says guitarists/vocalist Pepper Keenan. "In my head, it's a weird love letter to all things rock 'n' roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.""
"It's their first album in seven years and first since drummer Reed Mullin died in 2020. With new drummer In the Arms of God) and bassist Bobby Landgraf replacing Mike Dean, longtime members Pepper Keenan and Woody Weathermen made it with producer Warren Riker and it features appearances from Ministry's Al Jourgensen and Madonna guitarist Monte Pittman (who has also played in Ministry and Prong)."
Corrosion of Conformity will release Good God / Baad Man, a double album, on April 3 via Nuclear Blast. It is the band's first album in seven years and the first since drummer Reed Mullin's death in 2020. Producer Warren Riker worked with longtime members Pepper Keenan and Woody Weathermen, with new drummer (In the Arms of God) and bassist Bobby Landgraf replacing Mike Dean. The record features guest appearances from Al Jourgensen and Monte Pittman. Good God favors heavier, angrier material while Baad Man leans toward throwdown rock. Lead single "Gimme Some Moore" channels youthful energy. The band will tour in spring 2026, including stops at Starland Ballroom and Le Poisson Rouge.
