
"The 21-year-old daughter of Coldplay's Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow surprised a crowd at Nashville's Cannery Hall on October 17th when she joined the band Jade Street to perform a new song called "Satellite." According to the Vanderbilt Hustler, Jade Street was on a bill opening for The Bends when Martin joined them onstage. The student newspaper also noted that Chris Martin was in attendance to show his support."
"From the song preview, "Satellites" sounds inspired by classic Coldplay, with the minor-key ballad showcasing the young Martin's emotive vocals. A fan-captured TikTok post features the actual live performance, where Apple's voice starts a little shaky but grows more confident as the song progresses. Watch the clip below. This isn't Apple's first foray into music. She appeared on Coldplay's "Let Somebody Go," featuring Selena Gomez, from their 2021 album, Music of the Spheres."
