
"Cat Power is prepping to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her milestone 2006 album, The Greatest, with a new EP and 2026 tour dates. The three-song EP, titled Redux, features Cat Power backed by Dirty Delta Blues, the all-star super-group assembled for the world tour that followed The Greatest comprising guitarist Judah Bauer, keyboardist Gregg Foreman, bassist Erik Paparozzi, and drummer Jim White. It was recorded by Grammy-winning engineer and longtime collaborator Stuart Sikes at Church House Studios in Austin, Texas."
"Redux includes a recording of James Brown classic, "Try Me," Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U," recorded in tribute to the late guitarist Teenie Hodges, and a "re-imagined" version of The Greatest track, "Could We," newly recorded in the arrangement that was performed live on "The Greatest Tour" with Dirty Delta Blues.
