Broken Social Scene has unveiled 'Hey Amanda,' the second single from their upcoming sixth studio album Remember the Humans, due May 8th. The track follows the earlier single 'Not Around Anymore' and showcases the band's signature indie-weirdo charm with swelling, swaying instrumentation. The 12-track album marks their first full-length of new material since 2017's Hug of Thunder and reunites producer David Newfeld, who worked on their earlier albums. The project features contributions from Feist, Lisa Lobsinger, and Hannah Georgas. Both Newfeld and bandleader Kevin Drew lost their mothers during recording. The band supports the album with the 'All the Feelings' tour alongside Metric and Stars.
