Broken Social Scene will release Remember the Humans on May 8 via Arts & Crafts. The album is the Toronto collective's first full-length of new material since 2017's Hug of Thunder. David Newfeld returns as producer, with contributions from Feist, Lisa Lobsinger, Hannah Georgas, and others. Both Newfeld and bandleader Kevin Drew experienced the loss of their mothers during recording. The album's opening track and lead single, "Not Around Anymore," is a mid-tempo, groovy indie jam with a melancholic nostalgic tone and an accompanying music video. The band will tour North America on the "All the Feelings" run with Metric and Stars; tickets go on sale February 6.
