Bikini Kill will resume touring with U.S. dates in September 2026 and will headline Oakland's Mosswood Meltdown on July 19. Kathleen Hanna and the band reunited in 2017 and have toured consistently since that reunion. The group returned to full live performances in 2019, their first since 1997. In 2024 the band made a late-night television debut performing "Rebel Girl" on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Kathleen Hanna also published a memoir titled Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk.
