Avett Brothers and Mike Patton Announce AVTT/PTTN 2026 US Tour
""Mike's part of our DNA, like the fabric of our youth," stated Scott Avett of the Faith No More/Mr. Bungle singer. "Literally, we studied him. He's a dear friend now, but when we were younger, I was imitating him.""
""My peculiar challenge in this was to become a long distant cousin. A brother that was orphaned. Maybe they kept him in the chicken coop or some shit. They brought him out years and years later.""
AVTT/PTTN, a collaborative project between the Avett Brothers and Mike Patton, released a self-titled album co-produced by Patton, Scott Avett, and engineer Dana Nielsen. The project performs at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville on March 28, 2026, then launches a proper tour with two nights in Louisville on April 9–10, running through a June 20 stop in Waukegan, Illinois. The 2026 North American itinerary includes Nashville, San Francisco, Dallas, Brooklyn, and Cleveland. An artist presale begins November 18, a Live Nation presale on November 20, and general on-sale November 21 at 10 a.m. local via Ticketmaster. Promotional New York events include an album signing at Rough Trade on November 24, an "Evening With" and discussion with Eric Andre at the Grammy Museum on November 25, and a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 26.
