"After signing to Dead Oceans earlier this year, Emerson launched the singles series Perpetual Emotion Machine. As part of the series, she formally released " E After Next," a rework of Moby 's "Next Is the E" that had become a staple of her DJ sets. Avalon Emerson released the song "Eden" under the Avalon Emerson & the Charm name on Dead Oceans, accompanied by a music video directed by Ben Turok. Emerson described "Eden" as a voyage between joy and loss and said the song emerged from a studio session with Bullion after the & the Charm live tour in late 2023. Emerson launched the Perpetual Emotion Machine singles series after signing to Dead Oceans, formally issuing "E After Next," a rework of Moby's "Next Is the E." Emerson will play a short run of & the Charm shows across Europe and the U.K. beginning in late March.
