Arch Enemy named Lauren Hart, formerly of Once Human, as their new vocalist and released the single "To the Last Breath." The band had been searching for a replacement after Alissa White-Gluz departed, and fans speculated Angela Gossow might return following a social media tease; Gossow denied involvement. Founding guitarist Michael Amott praised Hart's voice, dedication and professionalism, and described the new single as a reckoning about seeing through deception and fighting back. Hart delivers guttural vocals and screams in the vein of previous singers. Arch Enemy announced intimate European summer shows with dates in Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki.
