Alter Bridge released the new single "Scales Are Falling" ahead of the Friday release of their self-titled eighth studio album. Guitarist Mark Tremonti described the song as having an atmospheric vibe with many peaks, valleys, and moods, and noted that he performs the bridge solo while Myles Kennedy handles the outro. The band will support the new LP with an early-2026 European tour that begins next week, followed by a US headlining tour in April with support from Filter.
