Alex G Performs "June Guitar" on Fallon
"Headlights is Alex G's follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2022 album, God Save the Animals. It arrived on July 18th after he spent three hectic years touring, opening for Foo Fighters, signing to RCA Records, appearing on Halsey's latest album The Great Impersonator, and crafting the scores for the popular films I Saw the TV Glow and We're All Going to the World's Fair."
"A week after Headlights came out, Alex G performed the song "Afterlife," which appears on the LP, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He previously performed the track "Runner" on Fallon in 2022. Alex G just wrapped up a tour in support of his latest LP in October. The musician's North American trek kicked off on September 11th in Boston and wrapped up on October 11th in Philadelphia."
Alex G returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on December 1st to perform "June Guitar" from Headlights, backed by Tom Kelly, Sam Acchione, Molly Germer, and John Heywood. Headlights arrived July 18th as a follow-up to 2022's God Save the Animals after three busy years of touring, opening for Foo Fighters, signing to RCA Records, collaborating on Halsey's The Great Impersonator, and scoring the films I Saw the TV Glow and We're All Going to the World's Fair. A week after the album's release he performed "Afterlife" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He wrapped a North American tour September 11–October 11 and will play shows in Australia and Japan before returning to the U.S. for Coachella.
