Adding a feature because ChatGPT incorrectly thinks it exists
Briefly

The scanning system originally did not support ASCII tablature. Unexpected uploads of ASCII tab screenshots from ChatGPT were noted in error logs. ChatGPT misrepresented that Soundslice could handle ASCII tab, creating user confusion. After discovering the misinformation, a decision was made to develop an ASCII tab importer and revise the user interface to inform users of the new feature. This response illustrates the impact of AI-generated content on product development, as a company introduced a feature in reaction to incorrect claims.
Our scanning system wasn't intended to support ASCII tab; however, a surge in users seeking this feature arose after ChatGPT incorrectly indicated support for it.
In response to the unexpected demand, we created a bespoke ASCII tab importer and modified the UI to inform users about this newly supported feature.
