A Bunch of Famous Rockers Played the Most Ridiculous Corporate Holiday Party
"If you were worth nearly $9 billion, who would you hire to play your company holiday party? For Eldridge Industries chairman Todd Boehly, the answer was apparently anyone who said yes. On Thursday night, Boehly threw a ridiculous bash headlined by Slash, who was joined by a rotating cast of A-listers including Eddie Vedder, Anthony Kiedis, YUNGBLUD, Brandi Carlile, and Bruno Mars."
"Vedder took the stage next for five songs, including Pearl Jam classics like "Corduroy" and "Better Man," as well as a cover of Dead Boys' "Sonic Reducer." Finally, Bruno Mars took over for a five-song run that included Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," The Police's "Roxanne," and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," before the whole crew returned to the stage to close out the evening with Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode.""
Todd Boehly hosted a private holiday event at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, headlined by Slash with an all-star house band. The house band featured Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Andrew Watt, reportedly performing as "The Dirty Bats." The lineup included YUNGBLUD, Brandi Carlile, Anthony Kiedis, Eddie Vedder, and Bruno Mars, each joining for multiple covers and select originals. Performances included covers of Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Iggy and the Stooges, Pearl Jam songs, and Nirvana, with the group closing on Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode." Boehly co-founded Eldridge Industries in 2015. The holding company has stakes in DraftKings, Vivid Seats, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Fanatics, and more, and owns Dick Clark Productions and the rights to the Golden Globes. Boehly is a co-controlling owner of Chelsea F.C. and Ligue 1 football club RC Strasbo.
