Fourth Street lights up at about 5pm each night starting at dusk, with holiday lights embroidered on every tree and glowing balls of light dangling from branches along three blocks between Fourth Street and Hearst. Lights will remain through February 2026. A big red Santa mailbox at Peet's Coffee (1776 Fourth Street) accepts letters beginning Nov 8; letters with a return address dropped by Tuesday 12/16 will receive replies from Santa and Mrs. Claus. A free Dazzling Holiday Light Celebration on Saturday 11/8 from 5–7pm offers live music, magic shows, an art project, complimentary hot beverages and treats, and LED puppets. A fused glass tea light workshop will be held Sunday 11/30 at Stained Glass Garden (1800 Fourth Street). Girls Night Out is scheduled Thursday 12/4 from 5–8pm.
