Xiaomi 17 Ultra arrives in standard and Leica special edition variants with a focus on camera and hardware improvements. The handset uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3. The device features a completely flat 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED with up to 3500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision and 120Hz refresh. Construction includes glass front, reinforced plastic or eco leather back options, and IP68/IP69 protection. Storage uses UFS 4.1 with up to 1TB and 16GB RAM. The rear camera system combines a 50MP 1.0"-type main sensor, a 200MP telephoto with continuous optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and TOF depth sensing.
