Xiaomi will introduce the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet at an upcoming event. Both devices will feature the in-house designed Xring O1 chipset, made on a 3nm process. CEO Lei Jun stated the chip has already entered mass production, backed by significant investment. The platform shows promise with a Geekbench listing indicating a 10-core CPU and high performance compared to existing chips. Xiaomi plans further investment in chip design to solidify its position in the semiconductor space for the next decade.
Xiaomi is set to unveil several new products this week, including the Xiaomi 15S Pro and Pad 7 Ultra, both powered by the in-house developed Xring O1 chipset.
Lei Jun confirmed on Weibo that the new Xring O1 chipset is in mass production and has seen a significant investment of CNY 13.5 billion.
