Tecno presented a 5.75mm Spark Slim concept at MWC but has not released a commercial model yet. Tecno plans to launch its slimmest phone to date in India, possibly under the Spark Slim name or another name. A report places the India price at about INR 80,000 and states the production unit measures 5.95mm thick, 0.2mm more than the concept. The device reportedly features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main rear camera, a 5,200 mAh battery, and multiple color options.
Back in February at MWC, Tecno first presented its Spark Slim concept phone, which was just 5.75mm thick, in a bid to preempt Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone 17 Air. However, Tecno's device still hasn't launched, while the S25 Edge is official. That, however, will change soon. Tecno is now apparently planning to bring its slimmest phone to date to India.
The phone is going to cost around INR 80,000, according to a new report, and should land in India soon. Interestingly, this report claims the final product will actually be 5.95mm thick, so it's grown by 0.2mm compared to the concept. It will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main rear camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery. Tecno is allegedly going to make it available in many different color options.
