Samsung Notes updated with landscape support, other improvements
"One UI 8 was a major overhaul of Samsung's user interface, but the company's first-party apps are getting their own improvements too - it's not just the base UI. For example, the Samsung Notes app just got an updated version with two new features and some bug fixes. The two major additions are support for landscape layout and support for sticky notes."
"The former refers to creating notes with the "page" oriented horizontally, not having the option to use the app in landscape orientation (which was already supported). This will be a great fit for tablets like the newly announced Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and the upcoming Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra (coming next week). Meanwhile, sticky notes offer an instant view of reminders and short to-do lists."
Samsung Notes received an update that adds two primary features: support for landscape-oriented pages and sticky notes, plus various bug fixes. Landscape support means creating notes with the page oriented horizontally rather than merely rotating the app interface. Sticky notes provide quick access to reminders and short to-do lists. The update is delivered as version 4.4.30.63 and is available only on select phones running the One UI 8 beta. Devices on One UI 7 receive an older app version, and even some new foldables with stable One UI 8 cannot update to this release yet.
