Samsung Galaxy S25 FE vs. Galaxy S25 Plus
"With this year's Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung brings the model much closer to the S25 Series. Size- and design-wise, it's identical to the Galaxy S25+, while it shares the full-fledged Exynos 2400 SoC with last year's Galaxy S24+. Compared to the S25+, the Galaxy S25 FE is around 30% cheaper in Europe and almost 50% cheaper in the US (when you account for storage and you shop from third-party retailers)."
"There's a difference in build materials, too. The S25+ is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 sheets on the front and back and features an Armor aluminum 2 frame, marketed as more rigid than the Enhanced Armor aluminum on the S25 FE. The latter also settles for the previous-gen Victus+ glass panels. However, the two handsets feel very similar in hand. The slight deviations in dimensions and materials are virtually undetectable. And both devices boast IP68 ingress protection."
The Galaxy S25 FE aligns closely with the S25+ in size and design, sharing the same screen diagonal and similar hand feel despite the S25+ being slightly narrower and shorter. The S25 FE uses the Exynos 2400 SoC, bringing performance parity with last year's S24+. Pricing is considerably lower: roughly 30% cheaper in Europe and nearly 50% cheaper in the US when accounting for storage and third‑party retailer offers, positioning the S25 FE as the budget-friendly option. Build materials differ: S25+ uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armor aluminum 2, while the S25 FE uses Victus+ and Enhanced Armor aluminum. Both models offer IP68 protection. Displays are broadly similar on paper, with the S25+ listed as LTPO and the S25 FE as a standard OLED.
