Realme has announced a new software update policy offering three major Android updates and four years of security patches for the Realme 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, 15 Pro, and 15 smartphones. This policy will extend to all future 'Number Pro', 'Number T', and 'Number' series smartphones. However, there are no updates on the GT series or lower-end devices. Additionally, there is no information regarding the frequency of security patches for the mentioned models.
Realme 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, 15 Pro, and 15 will all receive three major Android updates as well as four years of security patches.
Moving forward, all future 'Number Pro', 'Number T', and 'Number' Realme smartphones will also receive the exact same update promise.
This is of course far from what Samsung is offering on its mid-rangers, but it's a decent promise nevertheless.
Realme hasn't said anything new about the update promise for its flagship GT series, or its lower-end devices.
