Realme 16T arrives with the Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 144Hz display, and an 8,000 mAh battery
Realme expanded its 16 Series lineup with the Realme 16T, bringing the total to four smartphones. The phone features an 8,000 mAh battery rated for 7 years of use, with claims of up to 3 days of endurance on a single charge. It supports 45W charging and reverse wired 15W power bank functionality, along with all-scenario bypass charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera using the Sony IMX852 sensor and a 2MP monochrome unit, with AI Portrait Glow lighting effects and LumaColor IMAGE for true-to-life skin tones. The 6.8-inch HD+ 144Hz LCD has 1,200 nits peak brightness and a centered punch-hole selfie camera. The device uses a Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 8GB RAM, runs Realme UI 7.0, and includes cooling and durability features such as a vapor chamber, MIL-STD-810H certification, and IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings.
"The biggest highlight of the Realme 16T is its 8,000 mAh battery, which is advertised to last 7 years and deliver 3 days of endurance on a single charge. The battery supports 45W charging and can also be used as a power bank, as it supports 15W reverse wired charging. You also get all-scenario bypass charging."
"The primary camera uses the Sony IMX852 sensor and is advertised by Realme as the "50MP Sony IMX852 AI Camera." Reason? The smartphone comes with a few AI-powered photography features, including AI Portrait Glow, which "intelligently analyzes the lighting around subjects and applies supplementary lighting effects to enhance subject brightness." There are four lighting effects available in AI Portrait Glow: Flash, Studio Light, Natural Light, and Rim Light."
"In addition to AI features, the Realme 16T comes with LumaColor IMAGE tech for "True-to-Life Skin Tones" in pictures. The camera module on the back features Aura Flash and a selfie mirror, which isn't anything new on a mobile phone. The back cover of the Realme 16T also flaunts the Gleaming Wings Design, but you only get that with the Aurora Green colorway."
"On the front, we have a 6.8" HD+ 144Hz LCD with peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The display has a centered punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera, but there's no fingerprint scanner underneath, as it's embedded in the power button on the phone's right side. Under the hood is the Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB RAM. The Realme 16T runs Realme UI 7.0 out of the box, but Realme hasn't revealed how many years of software support it will receive."
