OnePlus 15 finally clears the FCC, US launch might be very near
"The OnePlus 15 made its Chinese debut in October and then went global earlier this month. However, for the US market in particular, there was a hurdle. While the company submitted all the necessary documentation to the US FCC for certification of the device as usual, the US government shutdown prevented the agency from actually issuing its certification of the phone, despite the testing having been completed."
"The OnePlus 15 comes with a 6.78-inch 1272x2772 LTPO OLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate and 1,800-nit brightness in High Brightness Mode, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, 50MP ultrawide), a 32MP selfie camera, and a 7,300 mAh battery with 120W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on top."
OnePlus 15 debuted in China in October and launched globally earlier this month, but the US release was delayed because the FCC could not issue certification during a US government shutdown despite completed testing. The FCC certificate has now been issued, allowing OnePlus to release the handset in the US imminently. The phone features a 6.78-inch 1272x2772 LTPO OLED display with 165Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800-nit peak brightness, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, a triple 50MP rear camera system, 32MP selfie camera, and 7,300 mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging. It runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16.
