Briefly

Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16 is now rolling out to the Nothing Phone (3)
"Live Updates deliver real-time ride, delivery, and timer information directly to your screen and the Glyph Interface, unifying lock-screen, notification, and light-based cues so you can track progress instantly without opening an app. Any app that supports Android 16's Live Updates feature will now start supporting Nothing's Glyph Progress feature. This means Nothing can support far more apps than before."
"The update brings deeper Flip to Glyph controls, a refined Pocket Mode, and new Glyph Toys (Hourglass and Lunar Cycle) to the Nothing Phone (3), while Mirror Selfie now lets you save the original photo as an extra image in your Gallery. Those are all the new bits specific to the Phone (3). The rest of the changelog, which you can see below, will be shared with other devices."
"A refined Extra Dark Mode deepens blacks, improves contrast, and reduces power use across the system. It brings a calmer, more focused look to Notifications, Quick Settings, and the App Drawer, enhancing both comfort and visibility in low light. It now extends to first-party apps like Essential Space and Launcher, with wider integration to follow. Nothing OS 4.0 enhances how the system feels in motion."
Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, is rolling out to the Nothing Phone (3) first, with other Nothing and CMF devices to follow without a specified timeframe. The Phone (3) receives deeper Flip to Glyph controls, a refined Pocket Mode, new Glyph Toys (Hourglass and Lunar Cycle), and Mirror Selfie now saves the original photo as an extra Gallery image. Systemwide features include Live Updates integrated with the Glyph Interface, broader support for Android 16 Live Updates via Glyph Progress, a deeper Extra Dark Mode, improved motion and app animations, and subtle haptic feedback at volume limits.
