Nothing Ear (3) with improved design, Super Mic feature debuts

"The Nothing Ear (3) is the first in the lineup to use metal components alongside the transparent design elements. The charging case gets a new Super Mic feature that's essentially a dual-mic system said to deliver clearer calls. According to Nothing, the Super Mic feature can cut up to 95 dB of noise and is activated with the press of a new 'Talk' button on the case. Other than calls, it can be used for recording voice notes via the native voice memo apps on both iOS and Android."

"Notably, each earbud also gets a three-mic system and a bone-conduction voice pickup unit for improved calls. It also offers real-time adaptive noise cancellation up to 45 dB. Nothing Ear (3) comes with 12mm dynamic drivers that are claimed to deliver stronger bass and a wider soundstage. The earphones support static Spatial Audio and AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs."

The charging case is said to offer an additional 38 hours of battery life. The charging case also supports fast and wireless charging."

Audio uses 12mm drivers with static Spatial Audio and support for AAC, SBC and LDAC. Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-connection, IP54 protection, and battery life up to 5.5 hours with ANC and 10 hours without, plus a 500 mAh case offering an extra 38 hours; pricing is $179/€179 from September 25.
