Lava says the Play Ultra runs "clean Android 15" out of the box since it has no ads, bloatware, or unwanted apps.
The Lava Play Ultra has a 6.67" FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display on the front with 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The display also has a centered punch hole for the 13MP selfie camera and a fingerprint scanner underneath for biometric authentication. The back of the Lava Play Ultra sports a camera island which reminds us of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 13. It features a dual camera setup comprising a 64MP primary camera (Sony IMX682) and a 5MP macro camera.
