Infinix Hot 70 announced with thermo paint, 6,000 mAh battery and 6.78-inch display
Infinix unveils the Hot 70 series with the vanilla Hot 70 available first, while Pro and other planned variants are scheduled for later. The standout design uses a Thermo Orange finish that shifts from Quiet Orange when cool to Playful Orange when warm, with additional color options including Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse. The phone is slim and lightweight at 195 grams and 7.49mm thickness. It uses the Helio G100 Ultimate chipset with multiple 6GB/8GB and 128GB/256GB configurations. A 6.78-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1576 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate pairs with a 6,000mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging and 10W reverse charging. Cameras include a 50MP f/1.9 main sensor with an unspecified auxiliary lens and an 8MP f/2.0 front camera. Android 16 with XOS 16 runs on the device.
"The Hot 70's centerpiece feature is the design, or at least the special Thermo Orange color. It reacts to heat, so when it's cool, the orange color on the back is of a darker shade (Quiet Orange), but as it gets warmer, the paint becomes brighter. Infinix calls the brighter shade "Playful Orange." The device also comes in Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer and Night Pulse."
"The Hot 70 is quite slim and lightweight, too. It tips the scale at 195 grams, and the thickness is advertised as 7.49mm. Green Texture * Quiet Violet * Dive blue * Silver Dancer * Night Pulse"
"As far as hardware is concerned, the handset runs on the Helio G100 Ultimate chipset - the same one that powers the Infinix Note 50 Pro and 50 Pro+ phones from last year. The available memory configurations are 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB. The display is IPS LCD measuring 6.78" in diagonal with a 720 x 1576px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate."
"Combined with the generous 6,000 mAh battery, which is pretty impressive for a 7.5mm body, we expect solid battery endurance. The battery can be charged over a cable up to 45W. Reverse charging at 10W is also supported. When it comes to cameras, the back houses a 50MP f/1.9 main shooter paired with an auxiliary lens, but Infinix doesn't say its purpose. We suspect it's just a simple depth sensor. The front offers an 8MP f/2.0 snapper."
