Huawei recently launched its Enjoy 80 smartphone in China, which will now be introduced globally as the Nova Y73. The device keeps the same specifications, including the aging 12nm Kirin 710 chipset. In Russia, the phone will be available with 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage options, excluding the previously available 512 GB variant. While originally listed with incorrect EMUI and Android versions, it will run on EMUI 15 based on Android 12. Priced between RUB 16,999 and RUB 18,999, the device sports a 6.67" screen, 50 MP camera, and a 6,620 mAh battery.
Huawei's Enjoy 80, retitled Nova Y73 for the global market, retains its specs including a 12nm Kirin 710 chipset, after over six years.
The Nova Y73 will offer configurations of 8 GB RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB storage, dropping the previous 512 GB option.
Expected to be priced between RUB 16,999 ($205) and RUB 18,999 ($230), it's unclear if these prices will hold in other markets.
With a 6.67" display, 50 MP main camera, and a 6,620 mAh battery supporting 40W fast charging, the Nova Y73 retains competitive specs.
