Google announced Gemini Intelligence as a suite of features for Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 devices “this summer.” A Korea report claims the features will instead launch first on Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, and possibly on a Samsung Wide Fold if released alongside them. The timing aligns with increasing Samsung–Google cooperation, where software features often appear on new Samsung devices and then reach Pixels shortly afterward. Timed exclusivity can support Samsung marketing by implying the new features require Samsung hardware. Gemini Intelligence is expected to be included in One UI 9, which is being tested and will debut on the upcoming foldables rumored for a July unveiling, based on Android 17.
