"If you've been wondering what the Pixel 10 Pro XL is like on the inside, then Zack from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything will show you, in painstaking detail, in his video teardown, embedded for your viewing pleasure below. Google has apparently made some strides in getting its devices to be more easily repairable, though interestingly iFixit doesn't seem to share Zack's excitement - there's definitely an improvement over past Pixels, but perhaps not as groundbreaking as he makes it seem."
"The battery is much more easily removable than in past Pixels, though, so there's that. Anyway, to get to any part of the phone that isn't the screen, you'll need to go in from the rear, while the screen replacement can be done from the front, with just one cable connecting it to the rest of the phone. Google unveiled the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which went on sale toward the end of August. A teardown of the Pixel 10 Pro XL by Zack of JerryRigEverything reveals internal construction and repair steps. Google improved repairability compared with past Pixels, particularly through a much more easily removable battery. iFixit reports improvement but views the change as less dramatic than suggested by the teardown. Most internal components require opening the phone from the rear, while the screen can be replaced from the front and connects via a single cable. The lineup includes standard and foldable models and supports 5G connectivity.
