"Gmail is trying to make it easier to track your online orders with a new Purchases tab coming to mobile and web. When you click on the tab, you'll only see emails related to your purchases, including order confirmations and shipping estimates. Along with this new tab, Gmail will start flagging timely deals within its Promotions category and roll out a new filter that lets you sort emails by the "most relevant" ones. Google says this filter will surface updates based on brands "you engage with the most," but it notes that you can switch back to viewing your "most recent" emails at any time."
