eSIM by AT&T launches for international visitors traveling to the US, Canada, and Mexico, timed with the FIFA World Cup running June 11 to July 19. The service is available in four prepaid pass lengths: one day for $3.99 in the US only; seven days for $15.99 in the US only or $24.99 for all three countries; 15 days for $25.99 in the US only or $39.99 for all three countries; and 30 days for $40.99 in the US only or $59.99 for all three countries. Each pass includes unlimited data plus 5GB hotspot access. Passes with unlimited talk and text are planned. Activation requires an unlocked eSIM-capable smartphone and the Connect on Demand by AT&T app, used to buy and activate after arrival in the US.
