Deals: preorders for the Google Pixel 10 series start, here are some alternatives too
"Google opened a new chapter in the Pixel phone story - the first models with TSMC-made chipsets are up for pre-order. Three of the new models will start shipping next week, the foldable won't be out until early October. The prices are the same as last year and you can get up to €250 trade-in bonus if you send in an old device."
"The Google Pixel 10 Pro is €200 more expensive than the vanilla model. It does have the large 1/1.31" main sensor and the high-resolution ultra-wide (48MP vs. 13MP), plus a superior telephoto - both have 5x zoom, but this one can go further with its 48MP sensor (vs. 10.5MP). The Pro model also gets a superior LTPO OLED display with a higher resolution (1280p+ vs. 1080p+)."
Pre-orders opened for the Pixel 10 lineup, the first Pixels with TSMC-made Tensor G5 chipsets, with most models shipping next week and the foldable arriving in October. The Pixel 10 gains a telephoto lens but drops the larger 1/1.31" main sensor and the high-resolution ultra-wide from the previous model. The Pixel 10 Pro costs €200 more and retains the large 1/1.31" main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide, a superior telephoto, higher-resolution LTPO OLED, and 16GB RAM. The Pro XL is a larger Pro with a 6.8" LTPO display, bigger battery, faster wired and Qi2 charging, and starts at 256GB. Prices match last year and trade-in bonuses up to €250 are available.
