AT&T's Build-A-Plan lets you pick and choose what you need and how much you pay

AT&T is offering Build-A-Plan, a fully customizable wireless subscription available online starting May 27. The plan runs on a 30-day rolling basis. A $15 monthly base plan includes unlimited talk and text plus 1GB of data. Customers add data as needed by choosing 5GB for $5, 15GB for $10, unlimited data with SD streaming for $20, or unlimited data with UHD streaming for $35. After using the selected 1GB, 5GB, or 15GB allotment, speeds drop to 128kbps for the remainder of the 30-day term. Higher data tiers replace the existing tier. Hotspot data is optional, with choices of 5GB for $5, 25GB for $15, or 50GB for $20. Use requires an unlocked smartphone that supports eSIM.
