Build-A-Plan offers mobile plan personalization starting at $15 per month. The base plan includes unlimited talk and text plus 1 GB of data. Customers can add data each month with options of 5 GB for $5, 15 GB for $10, unlimited data with SD streaming for $20, or unlimited data with UHD streaming for $35. The base plan does not include hotspot capability, but hotspot data can be added for $5 for 5 GB, $15 for 25 GB, or $20 for 50 GB. Hotspot data cannot exceed the selected data plan. The initiative positions monthly tailoring as a way to control budgets while connecting to AT&T’s network amid increasing competition and commodity-like wireless pricing.
