Apple's Crossbody Strap for the iPhone 17 series leaks in live images
"Apple is unveiling the iPhone 17 family tomorrow, and ahead of that we've recently heard that it would also release a magnetic Crossbody Strap. At the end of August, this was pictured in some renders, and today we get to see two live images of the upcoming Crossbody Strap, thanks to a tipster over on X. However, this might not be what the previous leak described."
"Here's your first look at the Crossbody Strap for iPhone 17, do people actually use these? pic.twitter.com/jcJOuleRbq- Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) September 8, 2025 The strap that leaked today might still have magnets, but it's clearly using a textile loop that will go into the holes in the case itself. So it's unclear if Apple plans on releasing two separate types of Crossbody straps, or if there was some confusion in the earlier leak."
Apple is unveiling the iPhone 17 family and a Crossbody Strap. Renders from late August showed the accessory, and new live images shared on X reveal the strap. An earlier report said the strap would insert into special holes in iPhone 17 cases and secure using magnets. The newly leaked images show a textile loop that inserts into the case holes and may still include magnets. It remains unclear whether Apple will sell multiple Crossbody Strap variants or whether earlier reporting mischaracterized the design. The official reveal is expected within about 24 hours.
