"The UFC ventured to Vancouver, Canada for just the 7th time in its history this past Saturday. This 13-fight card featured a special six-fight main card and a total of seven Canadians. The Canadians ended the night fairly well going, 5-2 on the night. On the main card, the Canadians went 4-1 with the only losers being Jasmine Jasudavicius. In the main event, between ranked middleweights Brendan Allen and Reinier de Ridder, RDR didn't answer the call for the final round-"
"Brendan Allen forced Reinier de Ridder's corner to throw in the towel ahead of the final round in the main event of UFC Vancouver on Saturday. The loss was Reinier's first with the promotion since being signed late last year. RDR entered the fight ranked at #4 in the middleweight division, while Allen was ranked at #9. This fight was originally slated for Anthony Hernandez vs Reinier de Ridder but Fluffy pulled out of the fight due to injury. Allen took this fight on short notice making the victory that much more impressive."
