Uros Medic Plans to "Kill or Die" at UFC Houston
""Everybody knows the way I fight, I'm coming there to kill or die. And I think I'm going to kill this one," Medic (12-3) told media outlets including Cageside Press on Wednesday."
""I was told previous fight that I would be a co-main, against Muslim Salikhov. And I was excited about that, but that didn't happen," noted Medic. "Now, unexpectedly I got a co-main, and I'm super happy, because I know it's going to be a great fight and I know that's what fans come to watch. I don't know exactly what kind of game plan is for the main event, but I think I'm going to steal the show.""
""I think with my fighting style, I don't really think about 'oh I have to get a finish.' It's just a style of fighting, and I think the UFC recognized that early on, and that's the reason I got the opportunity when I got it," Medic stated. "And that's the reason I got an opportunity again today, or this Saturday. And I think that's going to keep happening just because of the fight"
Uros Medic will face Geoff Neal in the co-main event at UFC Houston. Medic holds a 12-3 record and has never left a fight to the judges across 15 professional bouts. He has lived and trained in the United States for more than a decade. Medic was previously promised a co-main spot against Muslim Salikhov that did not materialize. He enters on a two-fight win streak and is 3-1 over his last four fights. Medic emphasizes an aggressive, finish-oriented style and aims to reach the top 15 in 2026.
