Umar Nurmagomedov earned a decision victory over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 324 after Figueiredo missed weight for the bantamweight bout. Figueiredo showed repeated reluctance to engage, which limited Nurmagomedov's ability to produce an action-packed, competitive fight. Nurmagomedov expected a tougher contest, noting that recent sparring partners Manel Kape and Magomed Magomedov presented greater challenges. Nurmagomedov fought aggressively and pursued the win but found it difficult when the opponent avoided exchanges.
