Another clinch, and Barriault got into some phone booth fighting, adding in a knee. Oleksiejczuk answered by going back to the body. A third clinch followed."
Michał Oleksiejczuk held center early and absorbed a powerful body kick from Marc‑Andre Barriault before responding with a left that snapped Barriault's head back. Oleksiejczuk pressed the action with body kicks and a late sequence that included catching a kick, striking Barriault and dumping him on his back at the 10‑second mark of the first round. Round two featured more hand fighting, opposing stances and repeated clinches in which Barriault pressured and landed knees while Oleksiejczuk targeted the body and added standing elbows, leaving a cut along his hairline. The third round saw momentum swings as Oleksiejczuk was rocked and absorbed heavy strikes.
