UFC Vancouver: Aoriqileng "Back in the Game" After Minor Injury
"I was very happy with the win. This time I decided a new tactic with my team,"
"A minor injury"
"anyone, any time,"
"hopes to get in there pretty quick,"
Aoriqileng finished Cody Gibson by TKO 21 seconds into the opening round of the UFC Vancouver preliminary card, earning a Performance of the Night bonus. Eddie Cha, a Korean coach from Fight Ready, translated post-fight comments with some help from Google because Aoriqileng did not have a Chinese translator. Aoriqileng said he used a new tactic with his team and that this was his second trip to Vancouver after losing to Aiemann Zahabi at UFC 289. A minor injury caused a 13-month layoff after a loss to Raul Rosas Jr. in 2024, and Aoriqileng said he is back and willing to fight anyone, anytime.
