"While his exhibition fight with Logan Paul was the biggest of his exhibitions to this point, stepping into the ring with former heavyweight champion Tyson is certain to dwarf his previous engagements. Tyson (59-7, 44 KOs), 59, last competed in a professional boxing match against Jake Paul last November at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was the first time the former heavyweight champion had competed in nearly two decades. The event was a massive success with 65 million concurrent viewers on Netflix making it the most streamed sporting event ever."
Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have agreed to an exhibition boxing match scheduled for next spring, to be promoted by CSI Sports/Fight Sports, with location, date and broadcast details still undecided. Mayweather, 48, holds a 50-0 professional record with 27 KOs, retired after defeating Conor McGregor in 2017, and has completed eight exhibition bouts, most recently versus John Gotti III last August. Mayweather stated confidence in his legacy and the event’s scale. Tyson, 59 with a 59-7 record and 44 KOs, last fought Jake Paul in November; that event drew 65 million concurrent Netflix viewers.
