"Idiris tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide in an in-competition sample collected on Feb. 21 in Houston. He defeated Ode Osbourne in a 125-pound matchup at UFC Houston."
"CSAD is not suspending or reducing any period of his ineligibility due to the seriousness of knowingly using a diuretic during fight week and the advantage that he received in making his contracted weight."
Alibi Idiris has received a one-year suspension after testing positive for hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic, during an in-competition sample on February 21. His victory over Ode Osbourne has been overturned to a no contest. Idiris admitted to using the substance to aid in his weight cut. The Combat Sports Anti-Doping agency stated that despite Idiris' cooperation, the seriousness of the violation warranted no reduction in his suspension. He will be eligible to return on February 21, 2027.
