Sarek Shields, who recently won against Joseph Luciano in the PFL World Tournament Semis, expressed enthusiasm about continuing his career in the Professional Fighters League. Following his first PFL fight, Shields reflected on his experience, feeling a mix of gratitude and nerves as he performed on a significant stage. He candidly noted that while he managed to secure a victory, he hopes for better performances in the future. His next potential matchup may be against Kendly St. Louis, who expressed interest in facing the winner of Shields' bout.
If PFL would have me back I'd love to come back here and put on a performance, hopefully one that the boss man wouldn't be too ashamed of. Again it's out of my hands. I did the best that I could and I'm just going to run with it.
It felt amazing. I'm really blessed to be here, grateful for the opportunity, and I hope they give me another opportunity. This was definitely not my best performance, but few things leading up to the fight, nerves, the biggest stage of my career.
