Pro-Trump UFC Star Torches Administration Over War in Iran After He Was Snubbed for Fight at White House
"I would just like to thank israel and Trump for when we wake up tomorrow and see a big redline. Hope some of you aint trying to retire while iran has WMDs.. Or wait iraq? Who knows. This is probably why me and the terrorist aren't getting booked on the white house card haha."
UFC announced its fight card for Freedom 250, a special event honoring America's 250th birthday taking place on the White House lawn on June 14. The card will be headlined by Ilia Topuria versus Justin Gaethje, with Alex Pereira facing Ciryl Gane. Pro-Trump fighter Sean Strickland, previously considered a possibility for the event due to his support of Trump, was not selected. Strickland had recently become critical of the administration and expressed concerns about the Jeffrey Epstein situation. After the card announcement, Strickland expressed disappointment over his exclusion and criticized U.S. foreign policy regarding Iran, sarcastically suggesting his exclusion resulted from his political views.
